About the brand Novation
Since the iconic Bass Station in 1993, we have continued to play our role, shaping the sound of electronic music. Perhaps even the music culture itself. From the ubiquitous Launchpad that has seen well over a billion views on YouTube, to the synthesizers behind the signature sounds of an ever-evolving musical landscape, we aim to empower the creative minds shaping the music and art of tomorrow.
We understand that making music takes time. It is a journey, and we strive to make this journey easy to start, but infinite in its possibilities. Your studio is your escape space. To explore and get lost, and with that comes a love for variety. The more tools we can gather, the more immersive your space will be. We therefore embrace other innovators in the field of music technologies. By working closely with Ableton (for more than a decade now), Ampify, Elektron, Roland, Korg, Splice, Melodics and many others, all we want is for your creative space to be as inclusive, coherent and creative as possible.
And we are not alone in all this. We have four sister brands focused on the same thing, but in different ways.
First, Focusrite with their audio interfaces. It is their job to take care of your sound during its journey from your mind to the outside world, and they are the best in the world at doing this.
Focusrite Pro is their professional division, focused on the complex needs of audio professionals. For these people, sound is not just a passion but a way of life and their life.
Next, there is ADAM Audio. Based in Berlin, Germany, they are precision innovators in the field of studio monitoring, with their unique ART ribbon tweeter-based speakers, revealing the signature sounds of some of the world’s best music producers.
And finally, born from the Novation team and based at Tileyard, King's Cross, London, Ampify Music challenges itself every day to create really cool music apps that remain super accessible, yet extendable and deep.
