Description

Unquestionably the flagship model at ESP, the Eclipse EC2 is a versatile guitar and formidable on stage as in the studio. The beautiful Japanese with irreproachable aesthetics includes powerful active pickups that will accompany you in all circumstances!

This E-II, made in Japan, will necessarily seduce you with the quality of wood and materials used. Mahogany body, ebony fingerboard, gold hardware, active EMG pickups ... all complemented by a sublime matte black finish.

ESP is proud to present E-II, its latest generation of guitars and basses. This new series inherits the soul and roots of ESP through its manufacturing quality, playability and high performance. These E-IIs are designed and manufactured in Japan by ESP experienced luthiers with the same passion and craftsmanship of creating these exceptional guitars and basses. With 40 years of experience in making some of the best guitars available, we are pleased to introduce this new generation called "E-II by ESP"

It's always a bit silly to say but the big-sounding guitarist does not necessarily want a guitar with abracadabrantesque forms. If, yes, hard and sober are not incompatible! As proof, this ESP hides, in a classic appearance, a big heart. Because, what is expected of a guitar of this type? A huge fishing, a diabolical sound definition, an output gain to fart the membranes of his Mesa-Boogie, an ease of play that allows to tumble all the boxes of the handle and finally a tuning that never moves.

The part of the dragon.
Qualities that perfectly define the E-II in general and this C2 in particular thanks to its active EMG with the formidable efficiency, its infinite sustain as well at low volume as blocking the knob in the red zone. But ESP is also the expertise of a luthier who officiates since 1975, gradually gaining the confidence of the greatest guitarists. A Japanese brand, certainly, but who carved the share of the dragon in the country where the electric guitar is queen, the United States.

An exceptional violin making.
Mahogany body lined with a maple carved table, sticked sleeve and rosewood fingerboard, the E-IIC2 boasts noble woods that showcase an irreproachable violin linked to a high-performance electronics and a hardware signed by the greatest signatures of the genre: bridge Tune-O-Matic Gotoh and mechanical self-locking oil bath Sperzel.

From the high end.
Although the shape of the Eclipse is not unlike that of the Les Paul, it is not a copy, far from it. For proof, including its singular notch that allows easy access to all the boxes of the key, and the profile of his sleeve much thinner. And especially a much lower weight than we usually know on this kind of guitar. From the high end, obviously, that confirms the finishes.
