Description
The "Model J" represents the quintessence of the collaboration with the musicians wanted and constantly reactivated by Philippe Rigoutat.
This search for a very high-level oboe meeting the increased requirements of professional musicians, Philippe Rigoutat led it jointly with Jean-Claude Jaboulay, soloist of the Paris Orchestra and Jacques Tys, super soloist of the Orchester de l 'Paris Opera (hence the model name "J"), whose respective mastery of the symphonic and lyrical repertoires and their requirements guided the development of a truly innovative instrument, capable of bending at intervals, registers and the most extreme nuances with flawless intonation, of course keeping the now famous and incomparable "his Rigoutat"! All oboists who have tried the "Model J" praise this breakthrough which will certainly be a milestone in the history of the oboe.
Made of African Grenadilla wood (Dalbergia Melanoxylon), the oboe is more suited to the orchestra, with an easier emission in the bass and in the bass / treble connections. Its sound blends more with the other instruments.
