FLORENCE 1176 is an optical compressor inspired by the classic 1176 compressor. Unlike its predecessor, it uses the latest generation of optocoupler allowing to offer 3 different modes: compressor, limiter, sustainer. FLORENCE 1176 is a compressor that doesn't alter the tone of the sound, thanks to the highest quality Jfet IC components combined with a sophisticated design. This compressor can be used at the beginning or end of an effect chain with input signal levels up to a maximum of 1.5V pp (tension crête à crête), and works great with instruments as well as recording devices.
