Audio quality faithful to the reputation of the brand.
Designed for musicians and producers, the SSL2 has 2 XLR/jack combo inputs equipped with Neutrik connectors, with individual gain control and ALPS brand potentiometers. These connections feed two superb mic preamps with enough gain to deliver punch to any mic you connect. The inputs have a 48V phantom power supply to power your condenser microphones, and are switchable to line level -to connect a digital piano or a music production system for example- and high impedance -HI-Z- allowing direct connection a guitar on the interface.

A complete listening system.
On the output side, the SSL2 provides you with two monitoring outputs in jack format for your listening speakers, the level of which can be adjusted via the Monitor Level potentiometer, as well as a headphone output with independent level. The interface allows you to listen to the signal coming directly from your instruments by positioning the Monitor Mix potentiometer to the far left, or the signal coming from your computer to the right. To better control your stereo recordings, with a keyboard or digital piano connected to both inputs for example, the interface allows you to pre-listen to the instrument in stereo via the dedicated Stereo button. Practical, and complete!

The SSL2 comes with an exceptional set of production software and plugins, the SSL Production Pack. To allow you to immediately benefit from a professional production solution, Ableton Live Lite comes directly with this audio interface. On the plugin side, the SSL2 provides you with the Native Vocalstrip 2 and Drumstrip plugins, for voice and drums, but also with Native Instruments Komplete Start offering 2000 customizable sounds and Hybrid Keys, dedicated to piano and synth samples. This exceptional offer is supplemented by 1.5 GB of samples from the Loopcloud application. SSL has thought of guitarists by including Amplitube 5 SE from IK Multimedia, but also Celemony Melodyne Essential to edit the tone of your audio tracks with ease.
