Audio-Technica launches the AT4050ST, a stereo condenser microphone, a new version of the famous AT4050 and one of the new microphones that complete the Series 40 studio microphone range. The AT4050ST, developed in direct response to user requests, is a side pickup stereo microphone with polarized condenser (DC bias voltage) with two independent cardioid and figure eight capsules initially configured in MS (center-side) with a switch to switch the internal matrix. The AT4050ST also allows audio engineers to choose between left-right stereo output (wide 127° or narrow 90°) via the internal matrixing system.
