CabGrabber-XL, extended version of the CabGrabber to facilitate its use on large amps and cabinets. This innovative accessory is simple, compact and easy to use. It allows sound engineers and musicians to very quickly place a microphone in front of a guitar or bass amp without using a mic stand.
Made of high quality aluminum, the CabGrabber-XL is lightweight and very sturdy. It is able to securely support any microphone, even the heaviest large-diaphragm statics. Originally designed for the AUDIX i5, the CabGrabber and CabGrabber-XL are compatible with all microphones equipped with a standard clip. Designed to be used on large amps, the CabGrabber-XL will fit on any cabinet with a depth between 35 cm and 52 cm.
The CabGrabber-XL, which is held in place thanks to a tensioning system, will fit both on a flat surface and on a cutaway. The thread is designed to accommodate any standard mic clip and can be rotated 180 degrees, with a thumbscrew locking the position of the arm. The possibility of attaching the CabGrabber-XL to any part of the amp, both on the side and on the top, will allow you to place your microphone in its optimal position!
