Much heavier than ordinary mallets, they are recommended for experienced musicians. They fully resonate the tone bars of the marimba, which produces a sound that was until now difficult to obtain. Their round head covered with wire is heavier than that of ordinary mallets, but it is fully capable of producing delicate sounds.
