Roland welcomes three new instruments to the legendary TR family of drum machines. Based on the flagship TR-8S, the TR-6S Rhythm Performer delivers next-generation TR performance in a compact form factor at an affordable price. The TR-06 Drumatix is the latest addition to the Roland Boutique line, blending the sounds and programming style of the 1980s TR-606 with modern functionality. Also based on the TR-606, the TR-606 Software Rhythm Composer adds a renowned new TR instrument to Roland Cloud's Legendary range.
The TR-06 is a detailed replica of the 1980s Roland TR-606 Drumatix, with some additional modern features. This new Roland Boutique version allows you to find the characteristic sounds and famous look of the original machine, adding interesting sound creation functions. It allows you to control the tuning, attenuation and panning of each instrument, or to turn up the internal gain for each circuit model to warm overdrive or aggressive distortion. A built-in compressor adds fullness and punch, while Tempo Delay creates depth and space.
Like its ancestor, the TR-06 incorporates an intuitive and familiar step sequencer. It is now equipped with advanced functions such as adjustable step subdivisions, or step loops for cutting patterns. With its five outputs and one Trigger input, the TR-06 fits easily into a modular configuration. It's also a high-quality, battery-operated USB audio interface with a speakerphone to create on the go.
