The JTR710 pocket trumpet is clearly superior to its traditional counterparts because it has a standard-sized horn and this is understood. Many trumpet teachers advise very young beginners to start on a horn. However, with the JTR710, the arms are even closer to the body, which eases the leverage and simplifies the learning of the trumpet.
