Description

Despite the development of wireless guitar systems, both analog and digital, wired transmission remains the safest way to transmit a signal over a long range. And nothing accomplishes this mission better than IMS.

The breadcrumb trail of the scene.
The electrical signals generated by the pickups of a guitar are very weak, and are thus quickly mitigated by long asymmetrical cable lengths. The sound result is therefore often catastrophic: loss of brightness, weaker dynamics ... Unfortunately, pulling long cable lengths is sometimes imperative on stage or in the studio, where the amplification systems can be far from the musician. This is where the SGI transceiver pair comes in, which ensures a perfect reproduction of your sound even over 100 meters of cable.

A second wind for your pedalboard.
Like all Radial products, the SGI system has been designed with rigorously selected components and embeds a 100% transparent Class A circuit. This circuit is completed by a control of load (Drag Control) which tends to reproduce the sound of a guitar directly connected to a tube amp. Thanks to the balanced XLR connection and the transformer which ensures electrical insulation between the elements, all the parasites are directly eliminated. It is not for nothing that the SGI is present on the pedalboard of artists as famous as Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Joe Perry or Metallica ... Excuse of the little!

The scene does not scare him.
Designed to be deployed both in the studio and on stage, SGI has been equipped with a shielded chassis that effectively protects components and connectors, while providing good insulation against electromagnetic interference. With a durable yellow finish and non-slip pad, SGI will go anywhere for a long time.
A must-have stage and studio companion for any guitarist and bassist who needs to deport their connections over long distances, the SGI will give you a perfect sound from one end of your installation to the other.

The Radial SGI consists of a pair of modules, a transmitter (SGI-TX) and a receiver (SGI-RX) that allows a guitar to be remote up to 100m from the amplifier. SGI is a unit gain device using a 100% discrete Class A circuit for fantastic sound and a transformer to eliminate ground loops.

In the studio, the SGI allows the guitarist to play in the control room to benefit from listening studio. Live, the SGI can deport the amp so that it does not interfere with its front or returns.

The guitar is plugged into the SGI-TX which deals with the impedance and level conversion, as well as the symmetry of the signal. The output is similar to that of a DI, which makes it possible to connect it to multipair stage or studio systems. At the end of the course, the SGI-RX converts the signal into a high impedance guitar signal to power amp or pedalboard.

- Active class A 100% discrete system for the best sound
