By using a single LFO and a simplified modulation envelope with intuitive controls located on the front panel, it is also very easy and quick to experiment with modulations, while keeping a perfect understanding of the structure of the Patch. The Nord Lead A1 includes a Low Pass, High Pass and Band Pass filter, as well as the new "Ladder M" and "Ladder TB" modeling introduced with the Nord Lead 4. The Nord Lead A1 has a separate effects processor for each of the four parts. Each processor offers a Delay (offering the choice between analog or digital behavior) a very good Reverb, and a module leaving the choice between Drive, Ring Modulation, Phaser, Flanger, Ensemble, and Chorus. The Chorus and the Ensemble have been modeled using analog synths, bringing a vintage touch and additional warmth.
