The Classic 500 has been designed to be simple to handle: exit the amps three or four channels with twenty potentiometers on the front, the Classic 500 goes to the basics by offering a single channel, a gain, saturation and volume adjustment. Equalization, however, has the particularity of offering two semi-parametric midrange settings (high and low) that can be used to dig or boost specific frequencies. A real plus to sculpt your sound! Like other EBS heads, the Classic 500 features the Character filter, which processes your sound upstream of all other settings, adding bass and treble while gently digging midrange.
