Description

d: facto 4018V microhpone black voice dpa microphones .

The D: Facto series brings a real studio sound on the stage and in the broadcast studios. These microphones are available in an extremely linear version as well as in a version with a high-end boost. The modular nature of the D: de facto series allows you to change the capsule as well as the adapter, making it the most flexible vocal microphone on the market.

Designed specifically for vocal performances on stage, the d: Facto holds a supercardioid capsule designed to reproduce each shade of the human voice transparently, coherently and thrilling. There are two versions available. The linear vocal microphone D: Facto (4018VL) is extremely linear. The vocal microphone D: Microphone vocal (4018V) is linear but with high-end strengthening. The 4018V is often chosen because it "passes through" on a broadcast tray, where the content usually ends up transmitted to the integrated speakers of the television with limited audio quality.

In addition to linearity and amplification, these microphones are identical. They both present a supercardioid polar diagram optimized for insulation. This directional feature offers the best of two worlds - cardioid and supercardioid diagrams. These microphones can handle strong voices through a three-level popup grid and low handling noise, the best of its category. They also offer excellent sound reproduction with all the details and the phase and frequency balanced linear response to which users have learned to trust for DPA microphones.

Optimized for live performance .
The vocal microphones d: Facto are ultimate scene pickups - no matter what performance takes place in a cozy club or in the largest concert hall.

Like traditional supercardioid microphones, the de facto series has a high lateral and rear rejection, with a minimum attenuation of 9 dB on the sides. Yet it is not bound by the less desirable aspects of supercardioids such as uncontrolled and non-linear rear lobes, which can create a stage wedge feedback because there is a sudden high frequency peak at the back of the microphone.

The D: Facto series has a wider acceptance angle at the front of the microphone than most supercardioids. The angle of acceptance is identical to that of a first order cardioid at 60 degrees off, which gives the same field of work as a cardioid - just with extremely high and uniform lateral and rear damping.

linear or with a high-end boost?
When choosing your D: FACTO vocal microphone, you have the option to choose the microphone that best meets your needs. An extremely linear version of the Vocal Microphone D: Facto is specifically designed for sound engineers who prefer to define their own unique impression on the final sound. A version with preprogrammed upscale amplification has a soft amplification of 3 dB to 12 kHz.

The two versions of the d: Facto are designed to capture electrifying live performance and reproduce precisely the voice of a singer seamlessly, coherently and thrilling. These microphones are optimized for sound use as well as for recording applications. They offer natural sound, a high separation of neighboring sound sources and an acoustic pressure level up to 160 dB.

A few words about supercardioids
A supercardioid microphone is similar to a cardioid: it is more sensitive to the sound entering and less sensitive to the back. Supercardioid microphones tend to have a much narrower sensitivity angle - which makes them even more focused than a "normal" cardioid microphone. This off-axis sound will be more or less colorful and cushioned - and, due to the narrow focusing angle, the area of ??sound amortization is significantly increased. The single technique of the DPA capsule, however, does not color the sound from the sides or the back of the microphone and simply reduces the sensitivity to these angles, thus offering perfect sound scenes. The amount of damping depends on the exact specifications of the microphone.

Because of their nature, supercardioid microphones are often used on the stage - as well during concerts and spoken events, to capture the concentrated sound of an instrument or voice. The narrow sensitivity angle minimizes the background noise of other sounds on a very busy scene. One thing to note with supercardioid microphones is the proximity effect, which causes an increase in the lower lower reply the microphone is close to the sound source. In addition, supercardioid microphones are much more wind-sensitive, pop and manipulation sounds than omnidirectional microphones, so precautions must be taken to guard.

Wired or wireless? - you choose
You can use the de facto vocal microphone with an elegant de facto handle and at the tip of the technology for a wired solution or choose to use a de facto capsule with your favorite wireless system. If you decide to opt for wireless, simply switch to a wireless adapter for a quarter of the cost of a new microphone. If circumstances change, you can simply change your adapter, instead of incurring the cost of a brand new microphone. When you make the change, you will not hear any loss or modification of sound quality.

The series of de facto hand microphones works with the main wireless microphone solutions, such as Sennheiser, Shure, Sony, Wisycom, Lectrosonics and Line6. The ingenious Microphone DPA adapter system is unique in the industry. It protects your investment in a fantastic sound for the coming years.
