Sound Color FX with the first Center Lock in the world
Activate the brand new Center Lock function and, when you use the famous sound color FX, each button stops turning when you reach the central position. This means that you can turn the wheel as quickly as you wish, bringing the effect to the maximum of the Hi parameter or until the minimum of the low parameter, without risking going too far and going to the opposite parameter. When you deactivate the central locking, the Sound Color FX buttons work in the same way as those of the DJM-900NXS2.
A new version of Beat FX
The Beat FX section, one of the favorite elements of the DJM series for a long time, has been considerably improved for the DJM-A9. A new color display helps you to quickly and precisely understand the status of the selected effect, and it has a lighting which corresponds to the horizontal arrangement of the X-PAD, allowing a more intuitive control of a simple shift of finger finger . You can use the X-PAD to modify the Echo and Ping Pong effects to create a unique analog band type sound. And, among the 14 beat FX, there are 3 new ones that you can use to add additional variations to your performance:
Mobius: modifies the frequency of the oscillator so that it increases or decreases constantly according to the rhythm.

Improved micro section

Expanded connectivity
Connect 2 different PC/Mac systems at the same time thanks to the double-B and USB-type-C USB ports (there are 2 of each) for transparent transitions between DJs and sets that are easy to chain. And, with a Bluetooth input that you can direct to any DJM-A9 channel, you can deposit audio tracks in your sets from other devices such as smartphones and use all functions and effects of the mixer to modify the sound. Two independent helmet outputs and cabin equalization
