Description

110e

The classic symmetry of the non-cutaway Taylor 110e dreadnought is unmistakable, and is as well suited to the beginner guitarist as for the seasoned player, Whether you’re a flat-picker, heavy strummer of delicate ballad-smith. Built to last the years, supreme playability, comfort and consistency provided by the now legendary Taylor Neck is framed by a rich solid Sitka Spruce top with layered Walnut back and sides provide a robust tone, with warmth and sparkle – creating a guitar responsive to the player, with solid projection that can be subtle and nuanced, then really dish out the dB when needed for the encore. +C2B2:C3

Dreadnought

Like a broken-in pair of jeans or boots, few guitar shapes rival the Dreadnought in terms of comfort and familiarity. As the years go by and smaller guitars become more and more popular, the broad waisted Dreadnought is right at home on the laps of countless guitar players. Some of your favorite classic songs were most likely recorded and/or performed on this legacy body shape that has endured for more than a century.

Layered Walnut

Layered walnut’s rich brown hues lend Taylor acoustic guitars a pleasing aesthetic warmth. Taylor's layered wood construction, built to withstand tests of climate and humidity - features three wood layers, a central core of poplar with a vibrant walnut outer veneer, resulting in a clear tone and durability that will keep you playing through the years.

Sitka Spruce

Sitka Spruce is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops. Sitka generates a broad dynamic range and accommodates numerous playing styles from aggressive strumming to fingerpicking. As a guitar soundboard, Sitka spruce is the tonewood standard of the modern era. It’s used on 85-90 percent of the guitars that Taylor makes. Its combination of strength and elasticity translates into a broad dynamic range, yielding crisp articulation and allowing for everything from aggressive strumming and flatpicking to fingerpicking.
