The Yamaha TransAcoustic Guitar recreates that incredible experience without needing any external amplification or effects, just the guitar itself. It's the most inspiring, engaging acoustic guitar you've ever played.

Actuator
An actuator installed on the inner surface of the guitar back vibrates in response to the vibrations of the strings. The vibrations of the actuator are then conveyed to the body of the guitar, and to the air in and around the guitar body, generating authentic reverb and chorus sounds from inside the body.

Simple Controls
Three simple knobs let you adjust the degree of effect applied and the lineout volume level. Additionally, keeping the controls small minimizes the area of the holes in the body material, reducing acoustic sound loss.(A) Chorus Control (B) Reverb Control (Room / Hall)(C) TA Switch / Line Out Volume Control* Pressing the TA Switch for more than 0.3 seconds activates the TA function.* When a cable is connected to the line-out jack, the lineout volume can be adjusted by rotating the (C) knob.* The reverb type switches from Room to Hall around the 12:00 position.

The body is an all-solid guitar based on the L-series.A modified non-scalloped bracing design retains the L series' characteristic bright tone while enhancing the low end.Treating the tops with Yamaha' s exclusive A.R.E. process gives the instrument a rich, vintage quality tone, making it sound as though you' d been playing it for years, from the very first moment you pick it up.The fact that this guitar has been designed with an insistence on sound quality is what allows it to produce effected sounds that feels pure and natural.

High Comfortable Playability
Straighter neck taper and hand-rolled fingerboard edges result in an instrument that can be played for hours without any stress.The 5-ply neck design featured in all TransAcoustic Guitars is constructed of rosewood and mahogany plies with a double-action adjustable rod, creating a strong, stable neck that resists warping.

Newly Designed Battery Box
Battery box integrated into the end-pin jack. This requires fewer holes in the body, thus reducing acoustic sound loss. Connect the cable from the jack to a PA or amp to use as an acoustic electric guitar.

Je suis bluffé ! Le manche est une autoroute, les graves vous font vibrer, les médiums et dons aigus sont cristallins. Mon autre guitare acoustique est une Taylor 414 CE. Il s’agit d’une excellente guitare. Au niveau des médiums et des aigus les deux guitares sont équivalentes mais au niveau des graves…pas de comparaison possible. La Yamaha est largement au-dessus. Ma Taylor est montée en 11-52 et la Yamaha en 12-53. Je peux faire des bends sans aucun problème avec cette dernière alors qu’avec la Taylor je n’y arrive pas. Une fois branchée sur un ampli elle prend une toute autre dimension. Pas besoin d’effets, tout y est inclus. La lutherie est d’une très grande facture. Cette guitare est livrée dans une housse semi-rigide très qualitative. Pour conclure, je ne pensais pas qu’une guitare entièrement massive comportant toutes ces qualités puisse être disponible à ce prix. Je ne peux que la conseiller ! ... (voir plus)

Cette guitare est bluffante... Table, éclisses et dos en bois massif. Bonne qualité de fabrication, bonnes finitions, très bonne sonorité au naturel et... Le système transacoustic qui apporte ce petit plus qui fait que l'on a du mal à lâcher cette guitare. L'étui semi-rigide qui l'accompagne est à mon avis ce qui se fait de mieux en ce moment pour stocker et se déplacer avec cette super guitare...

Un seul reproche, son poids. Sinon tout est excellent, son en acoustic simple, son amplifié (juste le Reverb Hall c'est génial, on joue dans une cathédrale). Après un an d'usage, environ 5h/semaine, rien n'a bougé, l'action est encore réglée comme à son arrivée. Tenue de l'accordage excellent aussi.

Excellente guitare, sustain , puissance, largement au niveau (sinon mieux parfois) de marques réputées vendus 3 ou 4 fois plus. L'effet transacoustic est vraiment superbe Un seul bémol: pourquoi avoir placé le témoin lumineux I/O à l'intérieur de la guitare, ça n'a pas de sens?

Très belle guitare,bien finie, très bonne jouabilité, le son "à sec" est excellent et le système Transacoustic est un VRAI plus. Seul problème avec ce système, c'est que l'on ne peut plus s'en passer...
