Henri SELMER Paris unveils, under its new brand Seles, a new model of clarinet called Présence. Thanks to its innovative bore, this clarinet delivers unique acoustic qualities and is defined by great ease of playing and emission, accompanied by exceptional homogeneity. The sound of the Présence clarinet combines timbre and harmonic richness, essential characteristics, at the very origin of the instrument's name. Likewise, our research into the position and shape of the harmony holes gives this clarinet an unequaled scale of accuracy. The specially designed keys, as well as new orientations of the arms and certain keys provide a mechanical response of incomparable precision and a feeling of comfort.
Presence clarinets are available in Bb and A with two keying finishes: silver or nickel as an option.

”EVOLUTION” system: This innovation, based on an internal lining process with a new generation resin, brings better stability and longevity to the instrument, while preserving the acoustic qualities of a traditional wooden clarinet.
Wood + resin: the best of both worlds The internal diameter of the upper body is enlarged, exclusively on the upper part, in order to integrate the resin. Boring is then carried out in the traditional way - by hand - with the same tools. Made from biomass, this patented resin does not contain bisphenol A.
Increased longevity and guaranteed for 10 years Our manufacturing process combined with the waterproof characteristics of the material creates an airtight envelope that prevents moisture infiltration into the wood fibers. Henri SELMER Paris therefore solves the problem of slits on the most sensitive part of the instrument.
Henri SELMER Paris makes a commitment and guarantees 10 years clarinets equipped with the EVOLUTION system.
The acoustic quality of the wooden clarinet preserved Scientific measurements as well as blind acoustic tests demonstrate that there are no notable differences in sound spectra between “standard” clarinets and clarinets equipped with the EVOLUTION system.
Presence clarinets are fitted as standard with a Henri SELMER Paris C85 120 mouthpiece, a Présence case and a range of specific accessories.
