50cm gooseneck microphone on XLR connector equipped with a hypercardioid capsule suitable for most conference facilities in noisy environments. By offering a directivity opening on an angle of 95 °, this microphone is perfectly adapted in the event of distance from the speaker or reduced space between the speakers.
With the Discreet Compact series AKG offers an alternative for installations on a tight budget. This is why the Discreet Compact series goosenecks are offered with a single flexible section, direct mounting between the gooseneck and the capsule itself, as well as a standard 3-point XLR connector.
A specific feature of the Discreet Compact series is that the gooseneck and the capsule form an inseparable whole. The front grille is integral with the gooseneck and the internal contacts are welded. This protects the delicate condenser capsule from mechanical stress as well as electromagnetic interference, thus ensuring optimum reliability and excellent audio qualities.
The gooseneck base has an XLR connector with gold-plated contacts. The metal body houses the electronic part of the microphone. The flexible section is sturdy and allows precise positioning of the microphone.
