The RØDE NTG1 is a lightweight gun microphone, designed for professional use in the film, video, television and production industries. Its wide bandwidth, low inherent noise and transparent audio make it an ideal microphone for cinema, video and dubbing or voice-over. Lightweight (105g), it is perfect for mounting on a pole. In addition to a bandwidth of 20Hz ~ 20kHz, it offers a high-pass filter (80Hz) which cuts down on unwanted low frequency noise from air conditioning or traffic, for example. A WSVM windscreen is provided to minimize the noise of breezes and plosives during recording. For outdoor use, it is best to use the optional DeadCat windproof fur.
