Description

Nothing less than a triple sequencer
The architecture of the BeatStep Pro consists of a double melodic sequencer and a rhythm sequencer. Each sequencer has its own CV / Gate outputs and the drum sequencer has one Gate output per instrument. We quickly understand why all users of analog or modular synths use a BeatStep Pro!

When the sequencer becomes the focal point of your system
The BeatStep Pro connects just as easily via the many CV Gates to older analog instruments as it does to your PC or Mac via the USB port. If you also have Midi instruments, that's it! The BeatStep Pro also includes this connection. By allowing the analog and digital worlds to be connected and communicated, BeatStep Pro is establishing itself as the nerve center and "converter" that you absolutely need.

A bloated and yet so simple interface
With its 16 pads, 16 encoders, its transport bar and its control buttons for its 3 sequencers, we could have quickly lost our way. And yet no: from the first contact, its operation becomes obvious and we find ourselves walking over it after a few minutes as easily as experienced users.

Le produit donne confiance par son poids, les parties métalliques nombreuses et les plastiques qui semblent aussi solide. Les fonctions sont nombreuses, donc bien sûr je m'attends à une phase d'apprentissage relativement longue, mais tout me semble fait pour rendre l'utilisation intuitive et claire. Le prix pratiqué lors de mon achat me semble juste (il est de 30% inférieur au prix public conseillé de la marque). Je n'aurais pas dit non à un "bundle" logiciel plus fourni, mais Ableton Live Lite et Analog Lab Intro me conviennent bien.

Pas trop utilisé en ce moment. BSP, c'est toute une prise en main. Quant'à Midi Control, et son firmware. Compliqué aussi. Il faut chercher certains paramètres. Bon produit tout de même. D'ailleurs on peut le réinitialiser, facilement..
