An easy configuration to implement, but very complete.
The M4 includes three mixing channels. Channels 1 and 3 can be used to connect a turntable, but also have a line input. Channel 2 is only dedicated to a line signal, but has two inputs. In all cases, there is a switch to switch from the phono input to the line input, or to switch between the two line sources, for channel 2. All these inputs have a connection Rca format. Their gain can simply be adjusted by an independent rotary knob. Finally, we have a microphone input, 6.35 mm jack format, with an entry level just as configurable.
An architecture dedicated to efficiency ...
For mixing, the M4 has an interchangeable crossfader, with a two-mode curve adjustment (crossfade or exchange) and a reverse mode, both activated by practical switches and solid. All channels have a three-band equalizer, adjustable by rotary knobs, and the microphone input provides a setting for the bass and treble. Finally, on the output side, we have a master Rca format, coupled with another connection, still in Rca, dedicated to recording: pragmatism reigns supreme here!
