Description

The Albert Hammond Jr Stratocaster guitar celebrates the unique sound and legendary style that still influences generations of young guitarists starting out in their garages today. When it came time for Albert Hammond Jr to record the guitars for the Strokes repertoire, but also his solo tracks, including the critically acclaimed Francis Trouble album, he turned to his 1985 reissue of a '72 Strat. Unique to this is Hammond's custom pickup switch - the fourth position activates the neck and bridge pickups in tandem, while positions 1 and 3 are reversed from the usual setup. Hammond's signature is affixed to the back of the large 70s style headstock. Other elements from this era are also present, including a Bullet neck adjustment rod, a three-screw neck mounting plate with the "F " stamped and the Micro-Tilt adjustment system conforming to the model d. era, as well as a logo from the 70s.
