The educo is an instrument of African origin, traditionally used in Brazilian brass bands, the batucadas. It offers a real opening to the instruments of the world. The Brazilian bell is composed of two bells (low and high), and offers a clear and rich in harmonic sound!
The pedagogo is held by one hand at the level of the handle. This socket allows you to use the spring effect to knock the bells together. With the other hand, strike the bells using the wooden bat depending on the rhythm to be obtained, varying bass / treble.
