Description

The DP-008EX provides professional recording, with many functions, in compact dimensions. With its two condenser microphones placed directly in front, this compact multitrack recorder, powered by batteries, is ideal for recording on site or outdoors. Record voices or an acoustic guitar whenever you want, with no additional hardware or installation time. Thanks to the analog sensations provided by dedicated control potentiometers, its integrated chromatic tuner and metronome, and its lightness, this Pocketstudio is one of the easiest musical notebooks to use on the market.

The DP-008EX has two Combo inputs (XLR / TS jack) with phantom power for static microphones; it allows you to connect external microphones, an electric or acoustic guitar, or even a line-level device (synthesizer for example). With an optional adapter cable, you can also connect a tablet, iPad for example. The recording medium is a widely used SD / SDHC card. The device comes with a 2 GB card. All of your song ideas are transferred to and from the device via the USB 2.0 port or an SD card reader, at any stage of the recording process. Many editing functions are also available.

The DP-008EX also has insertion effects on all input channels: equalizer, compressor, de-esser, exciter. In addition, six different reverb types are available, for optimal adaptation of your sound to any musical style. The level of reverberation is easily measured using the start potentiometers on each track. Not to mention the mastering effects, such as a 2-band equalizer, a multiband compressor and level normalization processing, which help create high-quality master files. You can master your files manually or use the automatic analysis function.
