The SUPER JET series
The SUPER JET is a silver-plated brass mouthpiece developed specifically for smooth jazz, rock and funk players. It is a very contemporary sounding mouthpiece. It will give you more power, more edge and more altissimo. And as with all mouthpieces, it's beautifully loose with enough depth in the sound to make it more versatile than many mouthpieces in this category. The SUPER JET also has a shorter attack curve for a killer altissimo.
Power Edge and Altissimo
Power and projection are derived from the ceiling design. The brightness, edge and cut are enhanced by the silver-plated virgin brass bell which gives the SUPER JET a clean, crisp shine. Like all JodyJazz mouthpieces, the SUPER JET features a handcrafted ceiling, fine tip rail and side rails for that instant response that JodyJazz is known for.
Four goals in creating the SUPER JET saxophone mouthpiece:

Have the ability to cut through loud instruments such as drums, electric guitars, etc
Create a mouthpiece that easily produces the highest altissimo notes
Each mouthpiece is individually tested by Jody Espina or one of the brand's professional saxophonists to ensure a perfect seal with the reed and proper response throughout the saxophone's range
The Superjet and reeds
Due to the shorter attack curve of the SUPER JET, a softer reed than the one you normally use may be appropriate. This is because the reed has less length to vibrate. This does not hinder playing at all, in fact it makes the SUPER JET one of the best altissimo instruments of all time.
