The POKKETMIXER Volume PLUS makes your iPod louder.
According to the EU Guidelines the iPod's should not exceed a certain volume through the Headphones jack.
If one connects the headphones jack with a hi-fi system, often these players are too quiet. That is why we developed the POKKETMIXER Volume PLUS. It raises the volume by about 10 dB on the hi-fi system – making it sound almost twice as loud!
The new POKKETMIXER Volume PLUS has the same functions as the classic POKKETMIXER and still requires no electricity!
The patented Pokketmixer is a mobile and passive Mini DJ-Mixer for headset-signals; it does not need electricity.
Passiv
Of course, your hi-fi system and speakers always need a power supply. The Pokketmixer can't solve this problem, however it doesn't need a power source and therefore makes it a lot easier, more mobile and flexible.

Headphone signals
The POKKETMIXER is built for headset signals. Headset outputs of devices are not standardized, therefore on the headset-output different devices also deliver different sound levels. Because the POKKETMIXER is a passive device, the maximum sound level depends on the actual capacity of the original playing device.
Important setting
We advice you to adjust the music you want to play on maximum sound level (best to turn potential presets on maximum).
Different devices have different sound intensity. In case you have two devices, which differ from each other extremely, then just turn the weaker device on maximum and adapt the stronger device to that sound level.
Mixing by using only one computer
People, who wish to mix with one PC or Notebook without using a second device, need to use a second soundcard, for example a small USB soundcard (available for approx. 15 Euro / 20 USD and upwards in nearly every electrical shop. Your computer should automatically recognize the USB soundcard. Then open a second player or some DJ-software on your computer and assign the second player to the USB sound card.
Mixing by only using one Smartphone or Tablet-PC
The same also works with a smartphone and a mono Splitter cable as well as the right app such as e.g. "djay"-App from Algoriddim. Here again are two players being played in one device, whereas one player is being assigned to the left mono channel and the other to the right mono channel of the headphones jack.
With the Splitter cable you can now plug the left player in the left channel of the POKKETMIXER and the right player with the right channel. This technology has the advantage which allows the speed from two players to match. A short video to this you can find on our YouTube-Channel.
