Edge Quadro is Antelope Audio's most advanced modeling mic. This Quadrosonic microphone incorporates two rotating heads with a large double membrane capsule in each.
With four independent outputs that can be independently processed and recombined, it allows the use of stereo pickup techniques such as M / S, X / Y or Blumlein pair.
Edge Quadro is the only microphone you'll need for stereo or 360-degree recording.

The heads of the Edge Quadro allow a higher level of accuracy and tuning. They can rotate without any noise, even during recording. Each quadro head can operate in all possible directivities (cardioid, figure of 8, omnidirectional and all intermediate positions). These features provide access to a virtually unlimited number of variations in terms of tone and stereo image which encourages creative experimentation.

This unique microphone comes with a shock-absorbing, luxurious, shock-absorbing suspension and two deoxygenated copper Y cables. The microphone is protected by an elegant custom-made wooden box that adds a level of protection to its solid and durable construction.

For maximum fidelity, it is recommended to combine Edge Quadro with all Antelope Audio interfaces equipped with microphone preamps and precision converters whose embedded FPGA processor allows the emulation of vintage microphones in real time.
However, Edge Quadro also includes native plug-in microphone emulation, which means you can use the audio interfaces of other brands and change the modeling choices after recording.
