The Adam Audio Sub15 is an extremely powerful subwoofer capable of extending the frequency range of main and semi-proximity monitors up to 20 Hz. The robust 15 ″ woofer is made of a specially designed aluminum cone. rigid. It is driven by two powerful magnets and a 100mm voice coil. With an output of 1000 Watts (RMS), the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) amplifier offers an efficiency factor of almost 90%. Thanks to this performance, the Sub15 is able to handle critical musical passages containing intense and sudden peaks in the bass without showing any sign of distortion or overheating. The slanted vent features a special design, with large dimensions and rounded edges, to cancel out any unwanted noise.
In order to be able to adapt the sound of the Sub15 to different room configurations or to the tastes of the users, we have integrated several controls, in particular the volume adjustment (-60 dB to +60 dB) and that of the cutoff frequency (50 Hz - 150 Hz). The satellite speakers can be used in full range or filtered at 85 Hz thanks to a high pass. This allows the Sub15 to be easily integrated into a Dolby surround setup. The built-in phase inversion switch makes it easy to control phase issues between the satellites and the subwoofer, especially in the crossover frequency range.
The Sub15 is also very versatile in terms of connectivity. It is indeed equipped with balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs / outputs at the rear. The Sub15 combines excellent transient response with impressive low frequency performance. It will allow you to enjoy authentic musical reproduction.
