Glenn Coleman is the founder of Coleman Audio and was the only one working there until he hired an employee in 2014. He started his career in the early 70s as an engineer for MCI, fixing consoles in the world’s best studios. He then launched his own company, Coleman Audio, and started manufacturing tools to fit the needs of sound engineers, evolving from custom-made one-off pieces to products for everyone to use. His first creation was a pair of VU-meters, which set the trend for the following tools. Coleman Audio hand builds pro-grade gear with a cool vintage look, a pure analog signal, a simple philosophy and a very transparent sound, and builds it in Westbury, NY. The signal path is as passive as can be so that the sound quality never gets compromised.
