Layered Rosewood
Layered rosewood is among the most popular layered tonewoods in the Taylor family, often appearing in the 200 Series and its Deluxe and Plus subsets. Offering a classically natural, chocolatey visual character, layered rosewood also provides a bold, vibrant tone, usually bolstered by a solid Sitka spruce top.
Sitka Spruce
Sitka Spruce is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops. Sitka generates a broad dynamic range and accommodates numerous playing styles from aggressive strumming to fingerpicking.
