Description
Bach - Bb Trumpet
During a tour of Pittsburg, Vincent Bach, the seasoned musician, had a realisation after a bad experience with a mouthpiece. Where can you find a high-quality mouthpiece? His questioning was supported by his time as head of the bugle school during the war. In 1918, Vincent Bach moved into a New York office and began producing mouthpieces.
The first Bach trumpets were produced in 1924. They were soon regarded by musicians as the Stradivarius of the trumpet, inspiring the name of the brand: Bach Stradivarius. Bach Trombones followed in 1928. After many successful years, Vincent Bach decided to sell his company to a reputable firm: Conn-Selmer, Inc. After relocating from New York to Indiana, Vincent Bach took the time to train his employees in order to continue making high-quality instruments. Vincent Bach thus combined his unique talents as a musician and mechanical engineer to create instruments of unparalleled sound quality.
