CR-78 REBORN 


The original CR-78 CompuRhythm launched in 1978 as the first mass-produced programmable rhythm machine. And now, your TR captures that magic with pristine ACB CR sounds, including 14 instruments and original preset patterns you know and love, as well as updated advanced patterns to pepper your beats with CR-78 zest. But it doesn’t stop there. Dive into an array of new parameter controls, using the power of ACB to push the CR-78 into new sonic dimensions. Combine tuning, decay, and gain tweaks with motion recording to transform the sounds like never before, coaxing shimmery tails from the metallic instruments and deep resonant boom from the bass drum.


TR-808 CHROMATIC BASS


Tuned 808 basses have been shaking the foundation of modern music since Dynamix II first did it way back in 1987. While most producers now do this in a DAW, the 808 Chromatic Bass instrument lets you use the TR hardware to program basslines using the step pads and coarse tuning for a hands-on approach. Lay the foundation of your bottom end with this
authentic 808 bass sound, perfect for trap, hip-hop, electro, and other genres. Then, embellish your rhythms with FX, FM sounds, probability, step loop, and more.

Kits with authentic TR sounds, samples and effects
The TR-8S natively has the largest and most authentic collection of TR sounds available. Its powerful new processor allows us to give our new generation ACB models a greater wealth of details and nuances, to find the classic Boom, Snap and Sizzle of Roland sounds. And now you can use built-in samples, or even your own, to create hybrid kits with layered sounds, then enhance them with tailored effects to inject some professional sound design into the TR formula.

Transistor rhythms
The TR-8S integrates all the sounds carefully reproduced from the most sought after TR machines: 808, 606, 707 and 727, as well as several modified versions. These are not more or less like sample packs or recordings of TR sounds. Each machine is reproduced in every detail of its circuits, and sounds and behaves exactly like its original model. All these sounds are yours, at your fingertips, ready to use in your productions and concerts.

Striking effects:
Using an appropriate effect can give a drum track the depth and space it needs. Delay on a rim-shot, overdrive on a bass drum, filters on toms and cymbals, or simply a little reverb on certain instruments: the TR-8S has effects to make all types of percussion sound beautifully. In addition to the Master FX button, each channel has a customizable CTRL button, which allows you to have all of your sound modeling tools close at hand. Bass drum attack, snare snap, phaser depth, distortion rate ...
