Blackmagic Duplicator 4K is two recorders in one! Featuring a 12G-SDI design, 25 SD card slots, and H.264 and H.265 hardware encoders, the Blackmagic Duplicator 4K can be used for live duplication or long-duration recording. In duplicator mode, it is able to simultaneously encode and record to 25 SD cards at once. In long-time recorder mode, it can continuously record to each card in succession for weeks. Multiple devices can also be chained together to increase recording times.

When recording to all 25 cards at once, Blackmagic Duplicator 4K makes 25 copies in H.264 or H.265. Thus, you can distribute them to customers directly at the exit of the event. Imagine being able to sell your videos as soon as a concert, seminar or school event is over! When you switch to Single Disk mode, Blackmagic Duplicator 4K turns into a powerful long-playing recorder and records to one SD card at a time. Indeed, thanks to the 25 SD card slots, it can record for several weeks without you having to change cards. You can even use Single Disk Overwrite mode to automatically overwrite the contents of the oldest card once all the others are full, thus recording in an endless loop.

Blackmagic Duplicator 4K features a real-time encoder for H.264 and H.265 formats, and 25 SD card slots built into the front of a rack unit enclosure. Constructed of machined metal, this duplicator is sturdy, lightweight, and small enough to take anywhere. You are therefore able to duplicate the content at the event location and sell the film immediately! It also features an LCD screen that shows device status and broadcast-quality connectors, including loop-through 12G‑SDI connectors and RS-422 remote control connectors. So you have the option of plugging multiple units together and recording more cards simultaneously.
