subminiatures microphones 6060

Subminiatures 6060 Core microphones measure only 3 mm, but offer the audio power of our larger and award -winning DPA microphones. What they lack in size, they largely compensate for it in clarity, consistency and sustainability - three qualities that really matter. By narrowing Core by DPA technology, we have made sure that you don't have to compromise sound to focus only on aesthetics.

We have narrowed Core technology in 3 mm
Core by DPA is a new powerful technology at the heart of our miniature microphones. We have minimized the distortion. From the murmur to the cry, you will experience clarity and unique opening.

We took up the amazing Core technology and reduced it to adapt it to our subminiatures microphones. This means that, despite their small size, the performance of the 6060 Core Subminiature series are completely comparable to those of the 5 mm miniature capsules which are appreciated worldwide. These subminiatures have a lower noise level than any other 3 mm capsule on the market and they are more likely to capture high sound pressure levels without distortion. In terms of technical specifications, the 6061 has a noise level of only 26 dB (A), which is comparable to the miniature capsules of 5 mm.

A new advance micro design
This tiny capsule has a cap which can be removed to be cleaned and which must be firmly attached to the body of the microphone with a firm click that can be both felt and heard. The supplied cap corresponds in its nature to the soft boost grid of our versions for 5 mm cells. The microphone itself and the cap are made of stainless steel and treated by physical deposit in the steam phase (PVD), which makes them extremely resistant: they can support high temperatures, resist shock and abrasion. The whole microphone has a matt look pleasant with an eye and touch thanks to this coating, which gives the whole microphone a smaller, more compact appearance.

The cable is often the weak point of this type of microphone, but we have chosen to use a cable of the same size (Ø 1.6 mm) and the same robust traction discharge as on our 5 mm microphones. The cables are extremely durable, do not get tangled and are equipped with an internal soul in Kevlar which is resistant to brutal pulls. A traction discharge is integrated into the microphone case to strengthen the whole.

The cable and the design of the capsule provide immunity to noisy HF devices. These microphones are generally connected to an HF belt pack and we offer a full range of adapters to adapt to the many wireless transmitters available on the Audio Pro market. When used with an adapter, the connector at the end of the micro cable will be our microdot, but we also offer wired endings to suit the most popular systems of manufacturers such as Shure and Sennheiser. All our connectors are equipped with a robust traction discharge.

It is the only 3 mm microphone capable of offering you the sound quality DPA you know and love.
IP58 certified
Core subminiatures are IP58 certified. This sustainability is obtained thanks to a certain number of manufacturing processes:

? Waterproof nano-covering of the grid and microphone housing.
? Hermetic sealing of the miniaturized amplifier at the heart of the microphone.
? Double gold plating of the diaphragm.

Subminiatures rewarded by the Academy
In 2021, the Council of Governors of the Academy of Arts and Cinema Sciences awarded a prize for technical realization to DPA miniature microphones. The price is specifically intended for Jens-Jørn Stokholm and Ole Moesmann for the innovative development of miniature DPA and subminiatures with incredible performance.

Lavalier clip 8-Jobs
When used as a lavalier, a special rotary clip is available. The 360 ??° clip allows you to mount the 6060 in eight positions, by step of 45 °. It is thus very easy to go from a woman's shirt to a men's shirt (buttoned from left to right) or even t-shirts and other similar clothes whose neckline is used.

Learn more about OMNIS
An omnidirectional microphone captures in all angles - in principle, it captures the sound equally in all directions. It will give you an extremely natural and realistic sound compared to a cardioid micro.

OMNIS are most often used in film recording applications and Broadcast environments because they capture sound more naturally compared to directional microphones. OMNI does not suffer from the proximity effect and is not as sensitive to wind, pop or manipulation noises. Even on a show scene, OMNIS are often used.

Sometimes, omnidirectional microphones are not the first type that a sound engineer thinks when it comes to live shows with a huge system of sound system amplifying the voice of an actor. However, due to the short distance from the sound source (using a bearing microphone or a headband), very high levels can be obtained with the Larsen DPA OMNIS. These microphones can be heard on many theater scenes -noisy from a nobbler), for example in the West End of London and Broadway.

Flexible adapter system
All DPA microphones can be used easily with a wireless system. We use a unique microdot termination on our microphones with an interchangeable adapter to guarantee a secure electrical link. All the adapters we use are original, developed and made for the wireless system brand you use. This guarantees that your microphone will work consistently without any connection to your system.

Wireless systems adapters offer you many possibilities for use. You are no longer linked to a single wireless system. As your needs change, you can simply use another adapter, instead of paying the cost of a new microphone. When you make the change, you will not hear any loss or change in sound quality.
If you are looking for a wireless system adapter, our microphones with microdot termination are compatible with professional wireless systems listed below. Many of these brands have several product references. To ensure the best compatibility, you must find the reference of your HF system, which, in most cases, is on the transmitter. Other configurations are possible; However, DPA cannot guarantee total compatibility with the other unstoppted brands.

HF manufacturers we work with: AKG, Audio Ltd., Audio-Technica, Beyerdynamic, Electro-Voice, Lectrosonics, Line 6, Micron, Mipro, Pastega, Ramsa, Sabine, Samson, Sennheiser, Shure, Sony, Telex, Toa , TRANTEC, VEGA, WISYCOM and ZAXCOM.

Cabinated-served versions without microdot connector are also available for different versions. The most common choices are the 3-pin lemo (Sennheiser), the Mini-Jack (Sennheiser) and the TA4F Mini-XLR (Shure).

If you prefer to use your wired microphone, all our microphones are compatible with our XLR (DAD6001-BC, DAD4099 ..) adapters)
