Description

The EVO 4 is packed with professional-grade components and features that deliver high-quality performance and breathtaking sound. State-of-the-art converters, with a sampling frequency of 24 bits / 96 kHz and a dynamic range of 133 dB, guarantee the capture of pristine sound without distortion. Designed to high Audient standards, the EVO 4's microphone presets are transparent and flattering, and the JFET instrument input adds just a splash of color for rich, satisfying sound. The EVO 4 has stereo monitor outputs and a headphone jack on the front panel, and it is powered by its USB 2.0 connection - so no need for an additional power adapter. In addition, the large volume knob is nice and gives you precise control over your monitor mix and output levels.

The innovative Smartgain function automatically sets the input levels
The EVO 4 has an innovative Smartgain function, which helps you adjust gain quickly and precisely so you can get started in creating without worrying about clipping and distortion. The way it works is simple. Just press the Smartgain button and select the channels you want to use to save. The Smartgain LED flashes red to indicate that it is listening. Then start playing, singing or speaking into your microphone, and Smartgain will automatically and correctly adjust the input level. Smartgain is a revolution for musicians and podcasters that will speed up the recording process and give you great results every time!
