Use
Just what I wanted. Mollenhauer make really good recorders. It may not be genuine boxwood ( it is made from Castello Boxwood ) nevertheless the sound is strong and clear , not husky . We all know that for £5000 you can buy a Fred Morgan alto made from genuine Boxwood which is much harder . But is it worth it ? . Michaela Petre uses Moeck recorders at a=442 hz and her playing and sound is always superb. For a slightly different tone you can hear Pamela Thorby play her Fred Morgan , but she is a professer of recorder so you would expect her to buy the ultimate . I have compared the sound of this 52222 A=415 with Pamela Thorby and I think it compares well in that it is a rounded sound throughout the range and is nicely made with wood with nice markings and a good colour. Absolutely excellent value for money. You cannot get a better price any where.... (voir plus)
