Très puissant, assez facile à contrôler, un son un peu nazillard toutefois. Bec aigu (peu de prise sur le liège du bocal un fois accordé), et assez sensible aux écarts de température pour la justesse. S'exprime bien avec des ZZ Jazz ou des La Voz
