That's why the Classictone II is based around the rich harmonic textures of the iconic EL84 tube. EL84's are known for having a nice warmth and a creamy breakup at fairly low volumes. The pre-amp houses two vintage voiced channels, clean and overdrive, with a boost on the overdrive. We added a balanced recording output, fx loop and speaker on/off switch to meet today's players demands.
