Despite its compact size, the SQ-64 has unmatched connectivity and will allow you to control, connect and get the most out of all your analog and digital devices. 1 MIDI input and 2 outputs, micro USB type B, Sync input and output, 3 Melody tracks, each with MODULATION, PITCH and GATE outputs and a DRUM track with 8 trigger outputs to control analog synths, Eurorack modules and boxes rhythmically.

Each of the three Melody tracks has 16 patterns of 64 steps each, and the Drums track has 16 sub-tracks also with up to 64 steps each, which can be played, chained and edited in different ways. Melody tracks and patterns can be edited in different modes (GATE, PITCH and MODULATION). You can therefore modify in many interesting ways the information sent by your sequencer on each of these steps. The outputs of the DRUM track can be fine-tuned to match the polarity and voltage of the connected device (s). Its Sync In & Out audio connections will allow you to seamlessly control all your other Korg devices such as the Volca Synthesizer Series, Minilogue, Monologue, Minilogue xd, Prologue and many more!

The SQ-64 has 64 well-lit LED step pads that not only let you see the whole image at once, but also make very fast and satisfying edits with its buttons. encoders and its dedicated mode buttons that will simplify and speed up your work. Each step has graduated lighting; the higher the modulation value, the more the button lights up to give you a clear view of what is happening in the sequence. The OLED display is clear, bright and readable from any angle. So you can have access to all the information you need, whether you are making music at home, in the studio or live!

The 3 melodic tracks include a MODULATION output, so each step in your sequence can be creating complex modulations on whatever material you choose, greatly expanding your sound creation options and possibilities. It's never been easier to create polyphonic chord patterns, melodies, complex polyrhythms and modulations on the fly and save them as data on each of the 64 available project slots.

REAL-TIME CONTROL
The SQ-64 will not only allow you to create incredible sequences; it has several functions and modes that will allow you to climb on the fly and play any of your equipment in real time. The 64-pad matrix can also be used as a keyboard, allowing multiple layouts to be used for maximum flexibility (multiple scales can be assigned to each and a number of other parameters can be easily changed)
