Description

The Micro Terror is the smallest Orange head to date.
This hybrid head weighs less than 1 Kg and has the same design and philosophy as the Tiny Terror. Associated with the PPC108 cabinet, it is perfect for playing at low volume while keeping a real sound grain. But beware, the Micro Terror can also be associated with a 4 x 12 like any other Orange head, and thus benefit from all its power. The settings are simple and intuitive and we find this fury in the intermediate saturations which made the success of the Tiny Terror.

Coupled with the PPC108 cabinet, you get a mini stack with maximum power in a minimum of space, all with an outstanding look.

Très bon ensemble avec une petite tête qui n'a pas froid au yeux !!! Brancher sur un 4x12 cette tête deviens un monstre . Je l'adore !

Tête d'ampli nickel même si crunch un peu trop vite (résolu après remplacement de la lampe par une 12AU7/ECC82). Bon son clean, drive très typé 70's. Par contre très déçu par la cab, peu de graves (même pour cette taille de HP), définition très moyenne et vibrations en bonus. Ouverture du cab, capitonnage de laine de roche sur l'intérieur du capot arrière, resserrage en règle de toutes les vis et magie... On retrouve des basses, une définition correcte et plus de vibrations.

A ce prix là, je l'ai trouvé encore moins cher que chez les teutons de chez Thotho... On pense d'abord à in gadget, et c'est vrai qu'il est vraiment tout petit, mais pour un usage domestique il fait très bien le job. l'entrée auxiliaire et la prise casque en font un allié pour les soirées,et pour lui rajouter un brin de polyvalence je le règle en son très clair et je lui colle la Bax Bangeetar en entrée. je ne lui reproche que l'absence d'une reverb...
