In the face of the undeniable success of the Katana product range, BOSS unveils this MKII version with many novelties such as:

New editor to let you control all new features and effects. Full control of the pedals
VARIATION BUTTON:
- Adds five new amp sounds in addition to the five original Katana MKI sounds - These continue to model classic tube amps.
NEW DOUBLE POTENTIOMETER
- New concentric control knobs allow individual control of each effect type. On / Off buttons for each effect.
The total number of effects available is now 65. New effects in Poly-Octave and Pedal Bend (whammy) - Some effects have been improved to fit the new MKII power
POWER AMP IN
- All models have a dedicated power amp input (different from FX Loop Return) that allows the user to use a high-end multi-effect - directly in the power amp and class A / B speakers.
STEREO EXPAND
- A brand new feature that allows you to connect two KTN 100s directly together to operate a "real" stereo Katana system. One becomes the master who enslaves the other unit. Effects such as Delay and Reverb can also be performed in stereo.

Born from the development process of the famous Waza amps, these innovative amps are BOSS's new attempt to provide the ultimate rock sound. Incorporating a proprietary circuit design and benefiting from meticulous adjustments, the Katana range combines traditional know-how and modern features to offer you real new generation rock amps.
With a power of 100 W and a 30 cm speaker, the Katana-100 produces a range of definitive sounds for the stage, which will allow you to meet the demands of all types of rock bands. The amp is also great for work at home thanks to its dedicated design for efficiency and innovative Power Control functionality, which delivers powerful sound and response even at low volume. The Katana-100 offers integrated access to 55 different BOSS effects, customizable at will with the free software BOSS Tone Studio. Up to 15 different effects can be configured in the amp in parallel, allowing you to have an arsenal of sounds ready to use in a single amp.

Ampli incroyable que j'utilise pour enregistrer direct dans le mac ! un champs et une personalisation incroyable. si possible prendre la version 100w pour sa boucle d'effet et surtout bien prendre le pédalier BOSS GA FC qui permet d'avoir un véritable pedalboard complet à ses pieds ! utilisation à la maison uniquement jusque la avec des telecaster, des ES335 ou encore de la les paul, je pense que l'ampli crache bien assez pour un petit bar ou concert mais je ne serais pas assez à l'aise de paramétrer tout avant. Je l'utilise plus comme une grande boite à outils et ensuite si le son me plait vraiment je me redirige vers de l'analogue pour le live

Bon, c'est du Boss..... Evidemment que c'est du costaud. Sa qualité n'est plus à démontrer. Attention aux voisins si vous êtes en appart !! Livraison très rapide (à peine 48h). Bravo l'équipe de préparateurs.

Du coté livraison woodbrass, RAS. Coté ampli, après quelques semaines d'utilisation : le son est vraiment génial. Rien à dire. Pas facile à prendre en main vu les possibilités offertes par la bête mais après c'est du bonheur. Un vrai couteau suisse. Prenez la version 100W uniquement si vous faites du concert sinon aucun intérêt. A 100w ça libère la puissance un truc de fou. C'est pas l'ampli lampe mais on s'en rapproche doucement. Quelques gros points noirs quand même qui font un peu tâche : pas d'accordeur integré. J'aurai apprécié pour pas me trimballer avec la pedale d'accordeur en plus. Le pédalier GAFC est indispensable mais le prix c'est abusé (comparé au prix de l'ampli). Et dernier point, je rejoins le com de Jean M. Le site de Boss est vraiment très mal foutu. Pour la mise à jour c'est pas très clair. Même si l'appli en elle même est pas mal. Au final ca reste un très bon ampli vu la qualité du son. Très pratique dans toutes situations malgré ses défauts.
