N’oubliez pas votre instrument ! Is a 5-volume series, addressed to Music Theory classes, from the end of cycle I to the end of cycle II.
Each volume is structured into lessons called Opus where all the activities are also specifically named: Prelude (instrumental warm-up), Cantabile (singing), Intermezzo (notes, transposition), Con spirito (theory, analysis), Tutti (within an ensemble with the instrument)...
The set covers all the subjects of a full course: reading, singing, rhythm, hearing, writing, theory, analysis, culture ... and contains many original approaches for which the student's instrument will be used as often as possible : various playing and learning situations around improvisation, the discovery of harmony through the keyboard, various instrumental forms (solo, duet, ensemble), etc. in a wide range of styles, from baroque to jazz, mixing works from great repertoire and original pieces.
The student book comes with complete activities + scores arranged as a whole (C and Transposer Instruments), as well as a teacher's book with the answers, piano accompaniments and methodological advice.
In addition to the educational material found in each volume, many tools and support are accessible from the Publisher's Education Space (Espace Éducation).
