This subwoofer extension gives even more power to the Array LD CURV 500® system. The additional 300 W additional (1200 W crest) in the bass give more punch at the bottom of the audio spectrum. This extension of course makes it possible to connect additional Array satellites, for an effective 160 W power (640 W Crête). The amplification is provided by two modules working in class D, with cutting supply. The 25 cm (10 inches) boomer is mounted in a plywood bass-reflex box. The box, with a solid structured painted finish, measures 325 x 383 x 491 mm for 16.5 kg; Thanks to its three ergonomic handles, it is easily transported. In addition to a multiband limiter based on DSP, circuits ensure the protection against short circuits, overheating or overload. The Ground Lift function makes it possible to delete possible snoring due to different mass potentials within the sound audio installation. A M20 threaded well is integrated into the box, for mounting a coupling bar for speakers. The system wiring is carried out through an XLR 5 -point connector in input and output. Satellites are supplied via a Speakon compatible base.
