Description

Very current and same trends, Avedis are distinguished by a design that pays tribute to the first Zildjian manufactured on American soil. Real stars of the fifties, they are still the assets to seduce.

A series not at all formatted.
The design of this magnificent collection of just eight models is named after Avedis III, the father of the American "modern" cymbal! Whether for jazzmen, soul lovers or the beginnings of rock & roll, the 22 "can be both fine, well defined under the olive, and yet very warm in its main frequencies. It can be used in crashes and wrinkles, and can be combined with real crashes in 18 and 19 inches, and two other 20 or 21 inches wrinkles. The charlestons also attest to this appreciated return to the past, with diameters of 14, 15 and 16 inches. How to conduct an orchestra as comfortable as in a Cadillac!

Options that speak for themselves.
Identifiable at first glance - with this patina a little dark that evokes the old patties, a fine and regular chiseling and little hammering - the Avedis deliver a lot of messages to who can decrypt them. The "Avedis Genuine Turkish Cymbals" stamp, to begin with, is based on the famous motif engraved in the 1950s, here pressed on metal rather than laser engraved. Under the cymbal, the Zildjian logo appears in black ink, and it is the signature that appeared on the Avedis passport that serves as a visible claw on the top. For the experts, the weight in grams is also displayed, handwritten under the bell by the craftsman who worked the cymbal.

A timeless sound.
It's simple, these new Avedis appeal to families and generations of very different drummers. The music of the fifties and sixties must surely be appreciated in order to fall head over heels in love, but many young people and fans of contemporary music recognize their pleasant sound, both sweet and explosive. The fact that we can vary the strokes, with the olive or the neck of the stick, emulating Max Roach, Mitch Mitchell or Ringo Starr, is certainly no stranger to this success. The 22-inch diameter can also marry with 15 or 16-inch hats, enough to magnify an I Love You or a Ticket to Ride with more fat and flexibility than aggression. It is decidedly in the oldest cooking pots that we cook the best dishes!

LEGENDARY

Zildjian is proud to present the A 'Avedis collection, a new series linked to the legendary A' cymbal range. Refreshing cymbals made during the 30s to the 60s, this "vintage" range is in keeping with the times.
Named in honor of Avedis Zildjian III, the creator of modern American cymbals, Avedis cymbals have helped to lay the foundations of many musical styles, swing, bebop and rock!
For the first time, this legendary sound has been remastered and is now available to new generations of drummers!
