Description

New edition of the Decimator which keeps the same circuit and the same operation with however a better follow-up of the notes, a softer answer and improved general performances. Thanks to its mini-jack input, it has a chaining function that makes them work like rack versions, depending on the pedals that are chained. They can even be linked to previous versions. This allows for example to use the first Decimator between the guiare and the amp and the second in the effects loop. The Decimator II offers better note tracking with new linear processor technology called Time Vector Processing ™, which improves smoothness and release transparency, virtually eliminating hiccups so notes fade smoothly.
Noise reduction pedal in a polished and chrome frame. ISP Technologies, the inventor of noise reduction HUSH® presents with DECIMATOR the latest generation of noise reduction in real time. The HUSH system and other noise reduction systems all have a big problem: they can not respond instantly to staccato very short or long notes that weaken slowly. The typical noise reduction system suffers from an inactive zone in its response, forcing a compromise when it follows very short or very long notes. The Decimator design offers a new approach to signal envelope tracking, called Time Vector Processing. Thanks to it, the Decimator system will immediately respond to short staccato notes while offering a very slow, ripple-free control over long held notes. That is, the Decimator's Noise Reduction System is the most transparent and the most powerful of the existing noise reduction systems.

Bonne réduction du hum lorsque la pédale de disto a un haut gain. Par contre on perd du son si on est obligé de pousser trop le treshold (exemple quand on utilise une disto + une overdrive en même temps, comme le font beaucoup de guitaristes).
