Je possède déjà plusieurs Stratocaster Fender dont quelques anciennes mais je voulais essayer ce nouveau modèle "American Performer" (et puis quel beau bleu ..!) Le verdict est sans appel : Une tuerie ! Tout est bon dans ce modèle : Manche ultra facile avec 22 touches au lieu de 21 ce qui facilite bien l'accès aux aigus. Testée sur 3 amplis différents dont 1 stack Marshall à lampe + Vox + Boss/Roland, on obtient toujours un super son clair comme saturé et bien typé "Strat" avec des possibilités supplémentaires grâce au Push/pull. Ce modèle est plus confortable et surtout beaucoup plus léger qu'un modèle "Fender CBS" des années 70 par exemple. C'est une vraie US et pour le prix demandé (un peu plus de 1000 euros) c'est tout simplement incroyable ! Allez-y ... foncez tant qu'il y en a, vous ne le regretterez pas ! Fender a fait très fort sur ce coup là !... (voir plus)
