The Stereo VideoMic X is an excellent stereo microphone for broadcast quality cameras. With a completely metal housing, it is not only very robust but also offers excellent resistance to interference. The microphone includes a pair of paired 1/2 ”true condenser capsules, in an XY superimposed configuration, and delivers a sound image of extraordinary depth. Each capsule has a Rycote® Lyre® suspension preventing the transfer of shock and vibration to the membrane. The SVMX rear panel allows you to adjust the input level (–10dB or + 20dB), a high pass filter (0/75 / 150Hz) and an innovative boost of high frequencies (+ 6dB @ XHz) to increase the intelligibility of the dialogue. This microphone is the first in the VideoMic series to offer balanced, professional-quality outputs on the side of the body that can replace the shielded stereo cable (3.5mm).
