Description

The Microtech Gefell M1030 combines modern large diaphragm capsule technology with the latest technological advancements applied to semiconductor circuits. The mic housing size has been optimized and matched to this large diaphragm mic for studio applications. The microphone has been specially designed to meet the needs of professional and semi-professional users who demand the best possible performance. The microphone is suitable for universal broadcast and studio recording applications. Among the target applications are the recording of vocals, vocal announcements, dialogue recording, and also the recording of guitars, keyboards, percussion, and wind and string instruments.

The condenser capsule offers a smooth frequency response with a slight presence bump between 8 and 14 kHz. The polar response demonstrates exceptional maximum rejection of signals coming from the rear (cardioid) or sides (super-cardioid) of the microphone. The electronic impedance converter uses a completely innovative and extremely sophisticated circuit topology. This circuit makes it possible to reduce the background noise to an extremely low value, while at the same time increasing the maximum possible level. As a result, this mic delivers crystal-clear sound, free from distortion over an extremely wide dynamic range. This reduces the sensitivity of the moving crew to mechanical shock and reduces structural background noise.
