The MCBOOST is a high performance micro -micro signal booster, designed to raise the output level of a dynamic microphone to ensure a better response. It also makes it possible to boost the signal of a microphone with a low output level, in particular the ribbon microphones, to bring it to a sufficient level to attack a mixing console or a preamp lacking gain.
< Br /> The class A circuit of MCBOOST, designed around two calibrated and paired J-Fet transistors, allows you to gain a gain of 25dB without increased noise level, without coloring of the sound or artefacts! The metal chassis specific to radial products ensures exceptional protection for components, making it suitable for live applications and tours.
Very easy to use, you just have to place the MCBOOST between the microphone and the console, connect it via two XLR cables and activate the ghost power to supply it! It has an impedance selector (600, 2.7k and 30k ohms) in order to optimize the frequency response and a 3-position rose-up filter to reduce the low parasitic frequencies.
